The Association of Community Health Nurse Educators (ACHNE) provides a meeting ground for those committed to excellence in community and public health nursing education, research, and practice.



The Association of Public Health Nurses (APHN) works to protect and promote the health and safety of the public by fostering high public health nursing practice standards, promoting and providing educational opportunities, and advancing the public health nursing role.


Quad Council –

The Quad Council Coalition of Public Health Nursing Organizations (QCC) provides voice and visibility for public health nurses, sets a national policy agenda on issues related to public health nursing, and advocates for excellence in public health nursing education, practice, leadership, and research.



American Public Health Association (APHA) champions the health of all people and all communities. We strengthen the public health profession. We speak out for public health issues and policies backed by science. We are the only organization that influences federal policy, has a 140-plus year perspective and brings together members from all fields of public health.  There is a public health nursing section within the organization.


AAMC serves and leads the academic medicine community to improve the health of all.
