The 7th International GNPHN Conference "Building Resilience and Innovative Solutions: Amplifying Impact and Advancing Positive Global Public Health Change" will be held in Calgary, Canada from 28-30 July 2025!

We are delighted to share the news that our 7th International GNPHN Conference is being hosted by The University of Calgary and Mount Royal University, supported by Tourism Calgary.

Preparations are now well underway and co-chairs Dr Aliyah Dosani and Dr Zhara Shajani, together with the planning committee, are currently working hard on the programme for the conference on the following areas of focus*:

  • Leveraging partnerships to tackle global health security

  • Healthy recovery after COVID-19

  • Global leadership on public health science and data

  • Climates and Environmental Change

In the face of unprecedented challenges our ability to innovate and adapt is crucial for addressing complex public health issues. This conference serves as a dynamic platform for sharing insights, showcasing innovative approaches, catalyzing collective action to build resilience and drive positive change on a global scale. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, students, policymakers, and advocates this conference aims to explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and foster collaboration towards building resilient health systems and driving positive change on a global scale.

Why submit an abstract? 

​

  • Showcase your research, innovations, and best practices to a diverse audience of public health professionals. 

  • Contribute to shaping the discourse on building resilience and driving positive change in global public health. 

  • Network with fellow researchers, practitioners, and policymakers and forge new collaborations.  

 

Accepted poster presenters will have the opportunity to display their printed poster in the poster viewing area or to have it scrolling on a screen on a continuous loop feed with other posters in the viewing area. Presenters MUST register and attend the conference in person.

 

We now invite submissions of abstracts for oral presentations, e-posters, PechaKucha style presentations and World Cafe (roundtable discussions) on topics related to the primary conference themes. Find out more below.
