Dr Christina Lindhart

About Christina

Christina is currently working as an Associate Professor at The Clinical Research Department at University of Southern Denmark. Christina has a health visiting background and has for the past 30 years worked within health promotion and prevention in health care in the municipalities, hospital area and with international cooperative research. Her special research interest is in children, family and ante and post pregnancy care and with a keen interest in obesity prevention. Currently she is engaged in research on communication skills in healthcare to improve children, family health and interdisciplinary communication as curriculum development at university Bachelor and Master level. Further she is engaged in quality assessment of the health visiting education.

She is sitting on international committees for public health nurses and on the board for health visitors in Denmark and is undertaking international interdisciplinary research work with universities in Germany, England, South Africa, USA, and Norway.

 

Christina is the chairman of the Examination Board for Health Visiting examens in Denmark and holds the editor post at Sundhed.dk (Governmental guidelines) on topics within Health Visiting and has published articles and book chapters.
